Real estate investment mainly depends upon converting leads into profitable deals and all that is done through communication. Once you meet them in person, you will become more inclined to respond to you because you won’t seem to like a disembodied voice after their property. They can build a certain level of trust in you. You are most likely to get a lead and schedule a follow-up meeting once you are credible to them. Be as much as ever personal with them when it comes to communication and try following up with them as your lead.
Email and phone calls
The more confident you present yourself, the more and confident real estate lead you would get and the more confidence you will get in yourself. To make sure you are stating the right thing would be you can draft the script down and you can communicate and edit them accordingly. Make sure you don’t sound like a robot and the information you provide is more accurate.
When you are working on follow up for a lead, you can use lines something like:
- “Hi, (name of the lead) are you selling your property? What is the most convenient time for you to meet up and talk about other options?”
Formatting your follow-up in the form gives control to your lead. It doesn’t make you are pressuring into making a decision quickly. Try to use “we” when speaking to your real estate lead. If you feel included in the process, your lead will be more willing to work with you, because you have wondered the follow-up to include them in the process.

Keep a schedule and stick to it
There are times when real estate investors don’t stick to the schedule and many give up on the first few failed attempts. Set each day with an appropriate time with your lead and try reaching out to them. Look at the time when your lead is responding to you, if your lead is responding to you in the evening, then try contacting your future leads in the evening. You will have to work with the trial and error method and determine the best time to attempt contact with a follow-up to your real estate leads.
